She called 2020 her ‘year of health’ and Rebel Wilson has proved she’s taking her words very seriously, showing off her incredible fitness transformation in a fitted yellow dress.
The 40-year-old Australian actress recently celebrated the wedding of her friends, Carly Steel and Jacob Andreou in Beverly Hills.
Rebel dressed up for the occasion, showing off her reported 18kg weight loss in a belted yellow Wayne Cooper dress.
She swept her hair into a sleek, modern ponytail and kept her makeup elegant and understated.
Rebel has spent the majority summer lockdown during coronavirus in the US taking to her Instagram to upload progress pictures of her transformation.
Last month, Rebel’s personal trainer Jono Castano, spilled all the secrets from her fitness makeover with Yahoo Lifestyle.
“Results speak so much, when you get someone amazing results – you know, we talk about Rebel – a lot of people see that and they see the quality of work,” he said.
"You can't out-train a poor diet and you can't let the weekend derail your fitness goals. It's a key mistake that a lot of people make. They get to the weekend and everything goes down the drain and then basically Monday to Friday, all the hard work that they did is gone.
"I'm all about balance, so with me, if you're going to have one drink, whatever it is, a chocolate, that's totally fine as long as it fits into your calorie count."
He also recommended people who want to follow in Rebel’s footsteps should be looking at training five days per week.
This doesn’t have to mean hitting the gym each and every day, as an example of his training schedule shows high intensity workouts mixed with weights training and step count goal days.
