Rebel Wilson showcases 30kg transformation in new Afterpay ad

Fresh from a private jet jaunt to Palm Beach, Florida for a polo competition, Rebel Wilson has unveiled her latest project: a fashionable and funny ad for buy now, pay later platform Afterpay.

In the clip, the Aussie actor showcases her 30kg weight loss in a sleek red jumpsuit while playing a sales assistant in a women's clothing store.

In the first scene, Rebel, 40, looks chic in a white puff sleeve shirt layered under the jumpsuit as she educates a shopper on the ins and outs of Afterpay.

Next, she switches her shirt for a red zip-up hoodie while coaching a sweaty man doing sit-ups in a gym.

The Pitch Perfect star compares the process of paying for purchases over four instalments to "having the abs now but getting six weeks to do the sit-ups".

Rebel is no stranger to putting in the hard yards at the gym, after declaring 2020 her 'Year of Health' and dedicating herself to achieving her goal weight of 75kg.

She hit that milestone in November last year after working in part with Aussie trainer Jono Castano, who told Yahoo Lifestyle that the secret to transforming your body is starting with small goals that can be built on over time.

Since then, Rebel hasn't been shy about flaunting her new fit figure on her Instagram page.

From racy bikini snaps to leather catsuits and head-turning red carpet gowns, the homegrown star has proudly shown off the results of her diet and fitness overhaul.

She's currently shooting a comedy, Senior Year, about a woman who returns to her high school after waking from a 20-year coma.
