Rebel Wilson Posts Smiley Photo with Her Daughter Royce: 'My Baby'
The comedian welcomed Royce via surrogate in November 2022
Rebel Wilson is giving fans an adorable glimpse of her mom life with daughter Royce Lillian.
On Sunday, Sept. 22, the Pitch Perfect alum, 44, shared a sweet photo on Instagram of herself and 22-month-old Royce sitting on the couch together. In the snap, Wilson wears a mint green top with jeans as she smiles at the camera and holds her daughter. Royce, dressed in a colorful striped T-shirt and jeans, crawls around her mom's lap.
A few of the actress' celebrity friends chimed in to comment on just how cute they think the toddler is — including her Pitch Perfect costar Adam DeVine.
"Full toddler mode!" Devine wrote underneath the post.
Wilson also shared a few more photos of the sweet moment on her Instagram Stories, capturing Royce smiling as she wriggles out of her mom's lap.
Wilson and her fiancée Ramona Agruma have often been candid about the special family moments they share with Royce, who was born on Nov. 7, 2022, via a surrogate.
In March, Wilson spoke to PEOPLE ahead of the release of her book Rebel Rising: A Memoir, and revealed that Royce, then 16 months old, had already said her first word.
"It shocks me how much she melts my heart," Wilson said at the time. "And when she says, 'Mama?' Lately that's her new favorite word. And that was her first word, ever. It just, it melts you and you're like, 'Aw.' "
"I thought I would be a strict parent, but apparently I'm the opposite," the comedian added.
Last week, Royce made her red carpet debut when she accompanied Wilson and Agruma to the premiere of her mom's latest film, The Deb — her directorial debut — at the Toronto International Film Festival.
Wearing a white dress with a striped sweater, the toddler posed for photos with her mom, who wore a purple gown with her hair styled in an updo. Speaking with PEOPLE at the festival, Wilson said that it was challenging for her to prioritize being a first-time director while also being a new mom.
"It was hard," the actress said. "Royce was almost turning 1. I wasn't getting very much sleep and moved the family back to Australia for it, so it was hard."

"I've got a bit more sleep now, now that the movie's complete and stuff," she continued. "But it was very challenging to be a brand new mom and to be doing a job that I'd never ever done before. That's it. And I'll recover, I'll recover from that."
Though the movie shoot had its difficulties, Wilson said Royce made several trips to the set to visit her mom.
"Royce came to set several times. Loves it. For some reason, she's probably seen the movie a couple of times," the proud mom told PEOPLE. "She comes in when I'm watching things in my home cinema, she comes in because she hears the music. She does this little baby dancing."
