Rebel Wilson has tied the knot!

The actress and comedian, 44, married her partner Ramona Agruma in a destination wedding in Sardinia, Italy, on Saturday, Sept. 28, sources tell PEOPLE.

Wilson and Agruma, 40, went public with their romance in June 2022, with the Senior Year star posting a cozy selfie of the pair on Instagram with the caption, "I thought I was searching for a Disney Prince… but maybe what I really needed all this time was a Disney Princess 💗🌈💗#loveislove."

Tying the knot in Italy is rather fitting for the pair, as it’s where they took their first vacation as a public couple. Days after becoming Instagram official, Wilson posted a photo of them holding hands in the seaside town of Porto Cervo, captioning the post, “Ciao Bellas.” They spent five days at the exclusive Hotel Cala di Volpe.

One month prior, Wilson — whose directorial debut, The Deb, premiered at the Toronto International Film Festival on Sept. 14 — had revealed to PEOPLE that she was dating someone new and that the couple had been set up "through a friend." She said they connected over the phone before meeting up in person.

"And that was a really good way to get to know each other," she explained at the time. "It was a bit old-school in that sense — very romantic."

Wilson and Agruma, who is the founder of the sustainable apparel brand Lemon Limon, got engaged on Valentine's Day in 2023 — and the Australian actress chose a fairytale setting for the big moment. She popped the question to her now-wife in front of Sleeping Beauty Castle at Disneyland in California.

Wilson shared the happy news on Instagram at the time, including a picture of the pair kissing while Agruma showed off her engagement ring, along with another snap of Wilson down on one knee in front of Agruma, holding a blue Tiffany & Co. ring box. They fittingly wore matching pink-and-white striped sweaters embroidered with a heart design for the occasion.

"We said YES! 💗💗 Thank you @tiffanyandco for the stunning ring 💍 and to Bob Iger and the incredible team at Disneyland @disneyweddings for pulling off this magical surprise!" Wilson wrote in the post's caption.

Wilson later detailed how she pulled off the surprise proposal in her memoir, Rebel Rising: A Memoir, released in April 2024.

"Ramona sees the pastel rose petals all over the ground and the roses in vases," she wrote. "I tell her how special she is to me. And then I get down on one knee and open the ring box. I end with, 'So in this cliché way, on this cliché day, Ramona Agruma, will you marry me?' 'Yes,' she says through the tears streaming down her face."

Since the Pitch Perfect star welcomed her daughter, Royce Lillian, via surrogate in November 2022, Agruma has been a solid source of support, helping her raise the now nearly 2-year-old. During an appearance on Australia's The Morning Show that same month, Agruma said Royce's arrival had been a "life-changing" experience for both women.

"It's like you start thinking about someone else instead of yourself, priorities change," she explained the time. "When you think, 'Aw, I wish I would go have a massage' or something, instead you're like, 'No, I just want to spend time with her and be at home.' "
