The reason MKR's Manu Feildel posted some very rude food on Instagram

Celebrity chef and My Kitchen Rules judge Manu Feildel is no stranger to making a statement, or speaking his mind.

He recently decided to do just that with a rather rude post on Instagram of some quite graphic food, but it was all for a good cause.

Posting a picture of a dish resembling a male’s genitals, the 44-year-old joked he would like to call the dish the “cockembouche”.

“Does it remind you of anything in par-d•ck-ular?,” he added, getting even more crude. “It’s bursting with flavour and with one bite, will melt in your mouth.”

His post was, however, to shed light on ANZUP – an organisation aiming to raise awareness and money for “clinical trials to improve the treatment and outcomes of penile, testicular, bladder, kidney & prostate cancer”.

The television star encouraged his followers to share their #rudefood to also spread the word in support of the organisation.

Many people praised Manu for raising awareness, but it didn’t stop some from making some tongue-in-cheek jokes.

“That’s a mouthful,” one person said.

“Sauce a bit too salty for my liking,” another wrote, with another adding there wasn’t “enough sauce” to begin with.

Hey, at least it’s all in the name of a good cause.
