RHOM's Jackie Gillies shares first photo of her newborn twin boys

The Real Housewives of Melbourne star Jackie Gillies and her husband Ben were over the moon after they welcomed their twin sons Bonham and Rocco in October after a long journey with IVF.

The pair announced the boys' names last month in an episode of her podcast Shine It Up, revealing they'd taken some inspiration from the rock 'n roll world.

"For me, Rocco is just a beautiful name," Jackie said.

Ben, who is the former drummer for Silverchair, said Bonham was inspired by the late Led Zeppelin musician John Bonham who was "a big influence on my music career".

 "Their personalities definitely match their names. Rocco is a little bit fiery, whereas Bonham is a little bit of a zen master," he shared.

The boys finally made their first appearance on Jackie's Instagram account on Christmas Day while wearing adorable festive outfits with the words "My 1st Christmas" emblazoned on the front.

"Merry Christmas 🎅 Love from Bonham, Rocco, Jackie & Ben," Jackie wrote, adding, "We love you!"

Speaking to Yahoo Lifestyle earlier this year, Jackie revealed that IVF had been incredibly tough for her and Ben, "What people that haven't been through IVF don't understand the emotions behind it, the ups and downs and really it was one of the hardest things I've ever gone through in my life."

Jackie, who's a psychic medium, also added that she always knew she would have twins when she finally had children, something she even said on the show in seasons one and three.

The reality star has previously admitted that she's been struggling with "the baby blues" since becoming a mother.

"I didn't know what to expect becoming a new mother. I just thought, 'It's gonna be okay, it's gonna be easy,' and it's been far from it," she said on her podcast. "There are moments that I didn't expect and that is, I think you'd probably call it the baby blues."

"There would be times where I would cry uncontrollably and I wouldn't even know why. I thought, 'Is it the hormones?'

"I've tried so long to have these beautiful babies but now I was starting to suffer a little bit with the baby blues."

Jackie said breastfeeding has also made her anxious as it's been "very challenging" and the sleep deprivation has been affecting her as well.

However, the reality star also shared her "unconditional love" for her sons, saying, "I just kept thinking these babies are so cute. Are they actually mine?"

Jackie and Ben have been married for 11 years and have struggled to conceive for some time, but were over the moon when they found out they'd had success with IVF earlier this year.
