Get Ready With Shay Mitchell For Tommy Hilfiger's Spring-Summer 2025 Show

All aboard the Tommy ferry!

Tommy Hilfiger always knows how to put on one hell of a show. From taking over the famed Grand Central Oyster Bar to switching it up by showing at London Fashion Week, the brand always pushes the limits of what a traditional show can look like—and it was no different this time around.

For this season's outing, it was all aboard the decommissioned MV John F. Kennedy, previously the Staten Island Ferry, for the brand's spring-summer 2025 collection. Guests entered the glamorously made-over vessel, where male models served up champagne, Diet Coke, popcorn, and hot dogs as they sat seaside overlooking the Brooklyn Bridge.

Models walked the ship deck and interior in clever maritime-themed clothes that felt refreshingly cool yet closely adhered to the house codes. Nautical stripes, patriotic plaids, and oversized outerwear made models look ready for a night out on the town or a stroll along the boardwalk.

A rowdy performance by none other than the Wu-Tang Clan closed out the show as celebs like Brooke Shields, Madelyn Cline, Tinashe, and Stray Kids's Felix and Lee Know danced and fist-bumped to the rapper's set. Another starlet in attendance was actress, entrepreneur, and executive producer Shay Mitchell, who wowed onlookers in an oversized trench coat over a V-neck sweater and poplin shirt paired with a red baseball cap, shoulder bag, and black Chelsea boots.

"We decided to put a more urban spin on this season’s look while still reflecting Tommy’s inspiration and creative direction," Mitchell says. "I am wearing an oversized shirt from the men's collection and then a knit dress from this season's collection over the top. We paired it with boots and a baseball hat to complete the look."

What She Loves About Fashion Shows

"I love all the preparation that goes into making these shows happen. So many people work together for many months to not only design and produce the collection, but to produce the event, get people here, secure press, shoot the campaign," she says. "I have so much more BTS knowledge of how these things come together from BÉIS and our pop-ups, and can appreciate all the work that goes into them! "

Her Getting-Ready Playlist

"The whole soundtrack from Mamma Mia, since both my girls are obsessed with it!"

The Inspiration Behind Her Glam

"In addition to the 'fit, glam also plays a big role in the look. I’m so lucky to be able to work with such an incredibly talented team. My makeup artist, Angie Mar, did a clean bronzing look, which paired perfectly with my outfit and made the whole look come together."
