Rankin, Heidi Klum Mark 20-year Anniversary With New Campaign
LONDON — Heidi Klum, who has spent two decades as Rankin’s muse, is appearing in a campaign promoting the photographer’s latest T-shirts printed with some of his most memorable images.
“Heidi and I have been working together for just over 20 years now, and it seemed fitting to do something to celebrate it,” Rankin said in an interview.

The duo first worked together in the early 2000s, when Rankin snapped Klum cheekily flipping her finger to the camera. In a return to that moment, the campaign shows Klum wearing a T-shirt printed with that image — and sucking her middle finger.
“The T-shirt with Heidi on it was initially bootlegged from one of my books. I remember taking my kid to school 15 years ago, and seeing a teenager wearing a shirt with that picture on it. Then I started seeing it everywhere, and it just became a famous photo,” the photographer said.
“When I decided to design a few T-shirts for my website, I wanted this to be one of them — an official version,” he added.
Other shirts modeled by Klum include Rankin’s portrait of David Bowie and one of Eleonora Salvatore González, known as Bimba Bosé, pulling a playful face at the camera.
“Heidi is one of my favorite people to work with; it’s always a creative collaboration. Our journey together has been nothing short of thrilling, and I’m excited to continue dreaming up new projects together,” Rankin said.
“Working with Rankin is always an adventure. It’s an honor to bring his T-shirts to life,” Klum said.
Each T-shirt costs $50, and can be purchased through Rankin’s online store, rankinswag.com.
