Randy Rainbow's First Parody Since Trump Won Renews Comedy Offensive Against Him
It’s going to be a long four years for those unhappy with the election results, but Randy Rainbow is here to make it go by a little faster. (Watch the video below.)
The comedian on Monday released his first anti-Donald Trump song parody since the incoming president won ― and the Grammy and Emmy nominee tweaked a song from “Annie” to let his displeasure be known.
Now, “I Think I’m Gonna Like It Here” is “I Think I’m Gonna Hate It Here,” which mocks the president-elect and his administration nominations.
“Lift your chin, don’t give in, to your stress and strife / Dry your tears, it’s just four years / Oh my God, fuck my life,” Rainbow sings as Annie. “Make way for Donald’s new regime, here comes a clown car of a team / That’s built on chaos, crime, incompetence, revenge and fear / I love the USA, I’ll never go away / But girl I’m gonna hate it here!”
Happy Holidays! Here’s my attempt at optimism. #IThinkImGonnaHateItHere#NewVideo#Parody ♥️🎁🎶😵💫 pic.twitter.com/CPUeSio1a2
