Rosie O’Donnell Rages at Donald Trump’s Time Cover
Rosie O’Donnell, whose feud with Donald Trump dates back to his days in the entertainment world, blasted Time magazine’s choice to name the president-elect as Person of the Year in a video Sunday.
“You equated, you normalized Trump. And that’s what Time Magazine did. Man of the year, Donald Trump. Well, f--- you Time Magazine. F--- you, seriously,” O’Donnell said on TikTok.
“How about most dangerous man of the year? How about most criminal man of the year? How about the worst president we’ve ever had… of the year,” she continued.
O’Donnell warned that there will be “no guardrails and a very corrupt Supreme Court” during Trump’s second term. She said Trump will weaponize the Department of Justice to go after the people who he thinks “aren’t American enough or for him enough,” which she said includes herself.
She added people needed to pay attention and “focus” in 2025.
“You have to fight for what this country’s really about, and it’s not about rich billionaires running it,” she said.
Trump’s feud with O’Donnell began in 2006, when the winner of Miss USA, a franchise Trump co-owned, was caught drinking, doing drugs and kissing a woman. Trump allowed her to keep the crown if she apologized at a televised press conference.
O’Donnell then called Trump a hypocrite on The View and mocked him for his string of infidelities and bankruptcies.
This proved to be too much for Trump. He threatened to sue O’Donnell and made multiple media appearances to call her “a slob” with a “fat, ugly face” and “a degenerate” for being a lesbian.
Trump took every opportunity over the next 18 years to criticize O’Donnell. In 2014, she said his bullying was the worst she’d ever endured.
Trump’s team did not immediately respond to the Daily Beast’s request for comment.
