Rachel Zoe and Rodger Berman Announce ‘Mutual Decision’ to Split After 26 Years of Marriage
"We are committed to co-parent our boys and to continue to work together within the many businesses we share,” the couple stated on Sept. 9
Rachel Zoe and her husband Rodger Berman are going their separate ways after more than two decades of marriage.
The celebrity stylist, 53, and the banker, 55, announced their decision to end their marriage after 26 years in a joint statement via Zoe’s Instagram on Monday, Sept. 9.
"After 33 years together and 26 years married, Rodger and I have come to the mutual decision to end our marriage,” the announcement began. “We are incredibly proud of the loving family we have created and our countless memories together.”
“Our number one priority has been and will always be our children. We are committed to co-parent our boys and to continue to work together within the many businesses we share,” they wrote. The pair share sons Skyler Morrison, 13, and Kaius Jagger, 10.
“We ask for privacy during this time as we navigate this new chapter. With love and gratitude - Rachel & Rodger,” they concluded the statement.

The couple’s relationship was previously documented on the Bravo series The Rachel Zoe Project, which aired from 2008 to 2013. In 2015, they starred in Lifetime’s Fashionably Late with Rachel Zoe (2015) and Berman is listed as a co-host on iHeartRadio's Climbing in Heels with Rachel Zoe podcast.
The pair first became a couple in 1991 and tied the knot on Feb. 15, 1998. Zoe celebrated their 26th wedding anniversary with a sweet Instagram tribute in February.
In August 2022, she marked her and Berman's 31st relationship anniversary with a celebratory Instagram photo.

Ahead of their announcement, Berman was noticeably absent from Zoe’s social media activity, prompting some followers to ask Zoe about Berman’s whereabouts.
Berman was last featured on Zoe’s profile for Father’s Day this year. She penned a thoughtful message to Berman, calling him, “One of the best to ever do it. Our boys are the luckiest and we are so grateful for you,” she wrote.
Zoe previously told PEOPLE in April 2021 that she and Berman maintain their "separate" lives apart from each other so they aren't always co-dependent.
"The idea is that you're dependent, but you're independent; there's the life you share, and there's the life that's yours," she explained. "That really takes the pressure off of the other, because if you're solely dependent on the other for your happiness and your purpose, that can't really work."
Berman agreed, adding, "I always find that the best relationships are the ones that you really root for the other person and you really try and help them in achieving their goals. Ultimately, your happiness is the other person being happy, right?"
