Zegler is currently starring in a revival of Shakespeare's Romeo + Juliet at New York City's Circle in the Square theatre that opened in October 2024. She plays Juliet opposite Kit Connor's Romeo in her debut Broadway role.
In The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, Zegler portrayed a District 12 Hunger Games tribute named Lucy Gray Baird, who participates in the 10th annual Games, dozens of years before the franchise's original four films that starred Jennifer Lawrence.
Blyth costarred as a young version of The Hunger Games' Coriolanus Snow, whom the late Donald Sutherland portrayed in the originals. Zegler's boyfriend Josh Andrés Rivera also costarred in the prequel movie, as well as Viola Davis, Peter Dinklage, Hunter Schafer and Jason Schwartzman.
Following The Ballad of Songbirds and Snakes, Zegler returned to the big screen with A24's December comedy Y2K, plus she voiced the lead princess in Netflix's animated Spellbound. She will hit the big screen again in March when she stars in Disney's live-action adaptation of Snow White opposite Gal Gadot as the Evil Queen.
Blyth most recently reprised his role in MGM+'s Billy the Kid for its second season. He also appeared in a 2024 film titled Bull Run. Next, Blyth has one movie — Plainclothes — expected to premiere at the Sundance Film Festival later this month.
"so proud of you sweetest boy!!!!" Zegler wrote in a comment on Blyth's Instagram, when he shared an announcement regarding Plainclothes' placement at Sundance on Dec. 11.
The actor is also attached to star in the movie adaptation of author Emily Henry's novel People We Meet on Vacation, opposite My Lady Jane's Emily Bader.
