The actress and rapper also accessorized her look with a white and beige tie with a striped design. Latifah added a pair of lace-up wedges inspired by sneakers to her look. The finishing touch was the statement coat the actress wore and an embroidered handbag.
As for her glam, Latifah styled her hair in an updo and completed her attire with a pair of statement sunglasses. The look merged power suiting with sleek and contemporary design, staples of the Thom Browne brand.
The fall 2025 ready-to-wear collection went slightly out-of-the-box and took inspiration from bird watching, “with a flock of origami-folded white paper feathered friends suspended in the air as a stage set,” Booth Moore wrote in WWD’s review of the collection.
“Browne engaged in lots of proportion and silhouette play, with barrel-chested shapes, oversize shoulders, padded coats, elongated blazers, mini and floor-length shorts and pleated skirts, and shrunken argyle knits evoking the varied statures of birds,” Moore wrote.
Thom Browne’s designs were heavily featured during the 2025 Grammy Awards, thanks in no small part to Grammy-winning artist Doechii, who became the third woman to the win the Best Rap Album award. The rapper styled a Thom Browne look for the red carpet, as well as for her performance, with backup dancers fitted in Thom Browne pieces to boot.
