Queen of Christmas Mariah Carey Teams $1,220 Knit Miniskirt with $8K Red Chanel Puffer Coat in Aspen
You can always count on Mariah Carey to show off her best winter-wear in Colorado
It's tiiiiime!
Time for Mariah Carey to show off her parade of winter-wear in Aspen, Colo., like she does every year, that is. The unofficial Queen of Christmas has been jetting off to the wintry city for the holiday season over the past few years, and every time she does, she shows off an absolute feast of fashions along the way.
On Dec. 19, just days after wrapping up her Christmas tour in Brooklyn, N.Y., Carey, 55, stepped out in Aspen wearing a cozy yet festive fit perfect for the cold-weather city.
The singer wore a soft white sweater with the Louis Vuitton Tweed Knit Mini Skirt, which retails for $1,220. She layered the skirt over a pair of white tights for extra warmth and rocked a pair of tall brown suede boots.
She topped her whole look off with a red Chanel Blouson Technical Jacquard puffer coat, which retails for $8,050. The cozy coat from the Coco Neige 24/25 collection has cargo pockets with pearl buttons adorned with the subtle double "C" logo, but the bright red color gave Carey that festive pop ahead of the holiday.
She completed her look with a pair of Chanel sunglasses and wore her hair in a tousled partial updo.

Ahead of her trip to Aspen, Carey finished out her Christmas-themed tour after canceling a handful of shows due to the flu. She performed on Dec. 17 in Brooklyn, with her twins Moroccan and Monroe, 13 — whom she shares with ex Nick Cannon — even joining her on stage.
At one point in the show, Carey went down into the crowd to take photos with fans and found herself face-to-face with Rihanna, who asked the Grammy winner to sign her breast.
"Mariah Carey is signing my tit," Rihanna, 36, said into Carey's microphone as the show's camera panned to her, showing her on the big screen at the arena. The Fenty founder wore sunglasses and a fluffy tan jacket. After Carey signed her name with a flourish, the two shared a hug before Carey headed back to the stage to finish out the show.
