Puppy and Dog Training App 'Woofz' Wants To Hire You and Your Dog to Be Chief Hotel Inspectors

If you can't imagine taking a vacation without your fur baby, and if your idea of the ideal vacation is staying in a hotel with your dog, especially if that hotel has special dog amenities, then boy do we have a contest for you!

In celebration of National Dog Day, a puppy and dog training app Woofz, is introducing a fun new role: Chief Hotel Inspector (CHI). You'll travel with your dog, stay at hotels in your area, and rate their "pet-friendliness" based on your pup's expert opinion. The job will include checking out pet services, safety measures, and staff friendliness, plus gathering feedback, photos, and videos. Candidates from all parts of the country are welcome to apply, as you will be traveling and inspecting hotels within your own region. Your insights will help other pet owners find the perfect spots to travel with their furry companions.

From the press release:

It takes more than a comfy bed to keep a holidaying dog happy. The perfect dog-friendly hotel offers dog parks for our pets to make new friends, plenty of outdoor space for them to stretch their legs, a doggy daycare so you can head out and explore without worry, and a well-stocked supply of complementary toys and treats – and Woofz is determined to find it.

With your help.

We’re looking for a chief hotel inspector (and their canine assistant) to stay at dog-friendly hotels to determine which establishments are up to scratch or whether the experience they offer is worse than a trip to the vet.

The successful applicant will be required to:

  • Stay and evaluate dog-friendly accommodations for pet comfort and safety

  • Assess and review amenities and services for pets

  • Assess staff friendliness toward and knowledge of pet care

  • Test the safety measures and suitability for various dog breeds

  • Gather feedback from fellow pet owners staying at the establishment

  • Capture photo and video footage throughout each trip

  • Evaluate the overall facility according to Woofz’s guidelines
