Harry to spend big bucks for Meghan’s birthday

With a royal proposal already on the cards, Prince Harry has also come up with another way to surprise his girlfriend on her birthday.

Harry is out to help Meghan with the move across the pond to London and is forking out big dollars for the birthday gift.

According to reports, the 32-year-old has lined up a $52,000 Mini for Meghan on her 36th birthday this year.

Inspired by one of his favourite movies The Italian Job, the prince thinks it will be the perfect car for whizzing through the busy city streets and remain relatively inconspicuous.

"Harry is convinced this is a great gift for Meg. She'll be able to nip around London yet stay fairly anonymous,” a royal insider told the Daily Star.

"Meghan is used to driving automatics so Harry says he will have to teach her how to use a gearstick."

It’s previously been reported that Harry plans to propose to Meghan this year – at the very latest on her birthday.

He’s even started house hunting for a quiet family home.

"He wants a relaxed country pad he can retreat to at weekends to join his wife and kids, entertain his mates and live a normal life," a source told Radar online.
