Harry and Meghan talk of 'finding freedom' in new tell-all book
They shocked fans when they revealed that they were stepping away from the royal family in January and moving overseas to bring up their son in LA.
So many questions were left unanswered but now it seems like all might be revealed as the couple’s biography, Finding Freedom and the Making of A Modern Royal Family, has been revealed.
Available to buy on Amazon on August 11 with hard copies available from August 20, the book, written by the Sussexs journalist friends, Omid Scobie and Carolyn Durand promises to go ‘beyond the headlines to reveal unknown details of Harry and Meghan’s life together’.
The description on Amazon goes on to say that the book will dispel ‘the many rumors and misconceptions that plague the couple on both sides of the pond’.
“Finding Freedom is an honest, up-close, and disarming portrait of a confident, influential, and forward-thinking couple who are unafraid to break with tradition, determined to create a new path away from the spotlight, and dedicated to building a humanitarian legacy that will make a profound difference in the world.”
It was thought that the title of the book would be called Thoroughly Modern Royals: The Real World Of Harry And Meghan, however it looks like that was changed at the last minute.
Omid Scobie has been firmly in Harry and Meghan’s corner ever since the former actress first made waves within the royal family, going so far as to say the “rockstar” royals would be a huge loss to the monarchy.
“The world is Meghan Markle and Prince Harry's oyster,” Omid told Good Morning America last month.
“Everybody wants a piece of them right now.”
Royal insiders are allegedly worried about what the Sussexes might have divulged in their interviews with the book authors, with some believing the biography could ‘savage’ monarchy, the Express UK reports.
The move echoes Princess Diana’s secret involvement in her own biography, Diana: Her True Story, where she spoke to author Andrew Morton.
She had also encouraged her friends to speak with him, prompting questions over whether members of Meghan's inner circle may also have spoken to Omid or Carolyn for the biography.
