Archie tries to grab Prince Harry's hand in adorable new photo

Ever since he was introduced to the world last month, royal fans have been hoping for another chance to see Meghan Markle and Prince Harry’s baby son Archie.

In celebration of the Duke of Sussex’s first ever Father’s Day, the couple have shared a brand new picture of their first-born to Instagram.

The stunning image shows the one-month-old trying to grasp Harry’s fingers with his tiny hands while being cradled by his dad.

Archie, who appears to be wearing a printed babygro, looks straight at the camera - perhaps at his mum behind the lens.

Harry’s wedding ring can be seen clearly in the black and white shot.

The pic is captioned: “Happy Father’s Day! And wishing a very special first Father’s Day to The Duke of Sussex.”

Royal fans were delighted by their closest look at Archie yet, and the post has already received over 1.8 million ‘likes’.

One person wrote, “So handsome,” while another commented,“Beautiful!” and a third shared, “So adorable.”

Fake baby photo scandal

The release of the snap comes after a ‘sussexroyal’ Twitter account shared a photo of a baby boy on Saturday, along with the caption, “The Duke and Duchess of Sussex hope everyone enjoys these new photo of Archie as much as they do (sic)”.

It didn’t take long for avid royal watchers to realise this wasn’t actually baby Archie, with the photo’s origin even then traced back to prove it so.

The image had actually been shared two weeks ago by German fitness instructor, Bella Kraus.

Fourth image of Archie

Meanwhile, the Father’s Day image is the fourth official photo of Archie to be released by his parents.

Just days after he was born, the first and second pictures of him were circulated.

One showed him in his father’s arms during the official photocall at Windsor Castle.

The second saw him meet the Queen, Prince Philip and Doria Ragland.

In the third, his feet were pictured in the garden at Frogmore Cottage to mark Mother’s Day in Australia and the US.

It has been revealed that Duke and Duchess have decided to have a traditional christening for their firstborn at Windsor Castle.

Prince William’s Father’s Day fail

Unfortunately for Harry’s brother Prince William, the Cambridges’ Father’s Day post did not get the same warm reception.

They shared a photo of William playing with Prince Louis, followed by a shot of the Duke with Prince Charles, but fans complained about what was missing.

“Why only Louis? Why not George and Charlotte? They are the eldest children! They should have posted the Christmas Photo where there is all the Cambridge kids,” one person commented.

“Seriously William does not have a pic of him and all three of his children?” another royal fan said.
