Yahoo Lifestyle Poker Face Gets Season 2 Premiere Date at Peacock — Watch Natasha Lyonne Dodge Bullets in New Trailer
Poker Face‘s Charlie Cale is hitting the road again… but it looks like she’s not safe anywhere.
Season 2 of the Peacock mystery series will premiere Thursday, May 8, with the first three episodes, TVLine has learned, with episodes dropping each Thursday after that.

Peacock has also released a teaser for the new season, which you can watch above, with Charlie bumping into guest stars like Katie Holmes, John Mulaney and Cynthia Erivo — and dodging gunfire from angry mobsters. In a rare quiet moment, Charlie wonders, “What am I even running from, right?” But when a bullet pierces the cup she’s holding, she remembers: “Oh, right.”
Poker Face stars Natasha Lyonne as Charlie Cale, a former casino cocktail waitress who has an uncanny ability to tell when people are lying. Each week is a self-contained mystery, with Charlie driving across the country encountering colorful characters and solving crimes along the way. Season 1 debuted in January 2023, earning four Emmy nominations, including one for Lyonne for best lead actress in a comedy.
Season 2, which will consist of 12 episodes, will welcome a host of new guest stars besides Holmes, Mulaney and Erivo, including Giancarlo Esposito, Melanie Lynskey, Justin Theroux, Alia Shawkat, John Cho, Margo Martindale, Kumail Nanjiani, Awkwafina and many more. Plus, Tony Tost takes over as showrunner in Season 2, replacing Nora and Lilla Zuckerman.
“Charlie Cale is back on the run, and in Season 2 we’ve taken her journey to the next level one murder mystery at a time,” co-creators Rian Johnson and Lyonne said in a statement. “From minor league baseball to big box retail, from funeral homes to alligator farms and even a grade school talent show, Charlie navigates her crime solving existential road-trip with deadpan wit, human empathy, and her signature uncanny lie-detecting ability.”
