New Photo Gives Hopeful Outlook on Mamie Laverock's Recovery

There seems to be hope on the horizon for Mamie Laverock and her family. In a recent Facebook post to Laverock's page, an image of Laverock's hand holding a teddy bear is shown. Although the photo is shared without a caption, it suggests that some progress has been made in Laverock's recovery: She appears to be hooked up to an IV with freshly painted red nails.

Over Memorial Day weekend, Laverock fell five stories at St. Paul's hospital in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada—the same hospital where she was born. Laverock had been hospitalized there after an undisclosed "medical emergency."
