Phish Sets Four-Night New Year’s Run at Madison Square Garden
Phish are helping ring in the New Year at Madison Square Garden in New York City for a string of four shows. From Dec. 28 through Dec. 31, Phish will play four consecutive nights at the venue, bringing Phish’s total number of shows at The Garden to 87. A ticket request period is currently underway at tickets.phish.com, ending Oct. 7. Tickets go on sale to the general public beginning Oct. 11. This comes after Phish — comprised of Trey Anastasio, Jon Fishman, Mike Gordon and Page McConnell – announced a special three-night stand in Albany’s MVP Arena on Oct. 25-27, with all proceeds benefiting the Divided Sky Residential Recovery Program and its newly opened facility in Ludlow, Vermont. A limited number of tickets are still available for the Friday and Sunday shows, while the Saturday show has already sold out. Phish have traditionally played a New Year’s run at MSG, where they played in 2023 after closing out their 23-date summer tour. They also embarked on a summer trek this year after performing a four-night sold-out run at Sphere in Las Vegas in April, followed by the release of their 16th studio album “Evolve” in July. Phish appeared at Sphere shortly after U2 wrapped their residency at the high-tech venue last fall. In August, the band put together their 11th self-produced festival and first in nine years, Mondegreen, at the Woodlands in Dover, DE. They performed over four days and nights, alongside an array of interactive fan experiences, camping sites, art installations, and more. Looking forward, Phish recently announced their return to the beaches of Mexico for the 8th annual “Phish: Riviera Maya,” set for Jan. 29 through Feb. 1, 2025.
