Pettifleur Berenger admits she's not showering on I'm A Celeb
Fans were shocked when Pettifleur Berenger admitted she has only showered once since she arrived on I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out Of Here.
The 56-year-old former Real Housewives of Melbourne star made the admission ahead of Thursday night's ice bath challenge, "I'm actually speechless," she said when first presented with the challenge which would call for her to submerge herself in icy water.
When host Christ Brown joked that surely she loves ice in her drinks, she said she only drinks "warm water" and tries to "avoid cold water".
"Seriously? You'd be loving the cold showers in camp then," Chris joked, to which Pettifleur responded, "I don't shower."

"I'm sorry?" Chris questioned, looking very puzzled.
"I've had one shower, I just let the wipes do the job," she responded.
Grant Denyer's face said it all:
"Pettifleur has only had ONE SHOWER!?" one disgusted viewer tweeted.
"The other housewives would be horrified if they heard that," another joked.
"Pettifleur did I HEAR that correctly???" another shocked fan said.
However, some were on her side, with one user writing: "To be fair to Pettifleur, how clean can you really get when you have to wear bathers in the shower? Wipes sound like a good idea tbh."
"Pettifleur just straight up not showering because the water is freezing LMFAO, she's an icon," another added.
Meanwhile, fans slammed the ice water challenge, labelling it “cruel” and “dangerous”.
Pettifleur, Grant, Jack Vidgen, and Travis Varcoe were tasked with submerging themselves in ice water in order to pump water using a lever located at the bottom of the tank.
As the challenge progressed, each contestant struggled with the sub-zero temperatures, gradually becoming red and barely able to speak, though all four stayed in the tanks until the bitter, and freezing, end.
Afterwards, each of them was wrapped in a shock blanket as they struggled to combat the effects of the freezing conditions, known to lead to hypothermia, and medics were called as they began to shiver violently and became unable to speak.
“Sorry but this challenge was not enjoyable,” one fan wrote on Twitter. “Too brutal and dangerous. Well done to all [four] of them.”
