Pete Davidson Flashes His Tattoos as He Gets Naked for Laraine Newman During “SNL”'s 50th Anniversary Special

A source previously told PEOPLE that the 'King of Staten Island' star has spent $200,000 in his ongoing process of removing all of his tattoos

Pete Davidson is baring it all!

During the SNL50: The Anniversary Special on Feb. 16, the comedian, 31, reprised his iconic character, Chad, alongside original SNL cast member, Laraine Newman, for a digital sketch.

While walking through the halls of Studio 8H, Newman came across Chad, who was working as a crew member on Saturday Night Live. As she and Chad strolled through the sound stage, she gazed at a photo of herself and the original cast hanging on the wall.

"God, I'm so young. Do you know what I had back in 1975?" she asked to which Chad replied, "Big ass bush?"

"No Chad. I had ambition. We all did, but God, we were terrified. I think that's why we clung to each other like we did," she continued, Chad began to walk away from the conversation but snapped back as soon as Newman added, "Which of course, created its own problems with all the partying and the sex."

When she admitted, "I would have been all over you back then," Chad immediately took off all his clothes in one swoop motion, revealing Davidson's chest full of tattoos.

"But I'm not like that anymore," Newman said before Chad shrugged, "Okay."

In late January, a source told PEOPLE that the Dog Man actor has spent $200,000 in an effort to remove all of his body art.

“He just woke up one day and wanted them gone, and it’s been a years-long process,” the insider said while a second source added that the removal marked a fresh start for Davidson, who "has been sober since September, and gained twenty pounds.”

"It’s pretty terrible, so if anybody out there is watching and thinking about getting a tattoo, make sure you really want to get it," he told hosts Savannah Guthrie and Craig Melvin while pulling up his sleeve to show the faded tattoos on his forearm. "It’s pretty gone."
