Paris Jackson Wore A Completely Sheer Dress To Fashion Week, And People Are Mad
Paris Jackson wants critics to know it's not that serious.
This week, Paris, 26, attended Paris Fashion Week, and on Wednesday, she stopped by Stella McCartney's Womenswear fall/winter 2025-2026 show in a completely sheer dress. The fitted, black, off-shoulder gown featured long sleeves and a small train. Paris wore it with nude underwear and a matching black bag.
When she posted the look on Instagram, it received plenty of love from her followers. Paris Hilton left a heart-eyes emoji. Another called it so "bold and beautiful."
At the same time, some people thought the look was a little too daring and made sure to let Paris know their thoughts in the comments. "That dress leaves nothing to the imagination - so unnecessary," one person wrote. Another wondered, "Why is everyone walking around naked these days at formal events? Is indecent exposure no longer a thing?"
A third critic said, "She looks amazing. But I am not a fan of the naked look." Another user agreed, writing, "I love her you but no. This is not a good look and is so unnecessary." "[It's] extremely unnecessary and definitely not classy," one more declared.
There was so much outrage that eventually, Paris took to her page to respond. "I've gotten a lot of mixed reviews with my choice of clothing for the Stella McCartney show," she said in a video shared on her Instagram Story, "I'd just like to point out that everyone's entitled to their own opinion."
"And, we're animals," she added, arguing that nudity was once natural to humans. "At one point, we abided by the laws of nature, we were hunting, we were gathering. It was kill or be killed. There was a harmony. There was a circle of life, and things worked really, really well for the whole planet until, one day, humans decided we're not animals, we're gonna wear clothes, we're gonna rule over all the other animals, and we're gonna wear clothes, and we're gonna be different."
"That's when shit got bad," she said. "So that being said, I don't really understand why the human body is a driving force for such discomfort in so many people. Like, it's just a body. It's just a body...on a human, which is an animal. We look at other naked animals all the time."
Paris continued, "We've all got bodies. It's not that big of a deal, and we've got bigger fish to fry."
She then called on people to focus on more serious issues in the world. "Let's do something for the environment," she pleaded. "Let's do something for the planet, man. Stop freaking out about nipples, man!"
What do you think of Paris's dress? Are you here for the sheer dress trend? Tell me (kindly) in the comments.
