Jimmy Fallon Suggests The Next Country For Trump To Take Over And It's A Doozy

Jimmy Fallon taunted President Donald Trump over his expansion threats on “The Tonight Show” Thursday. (Watch the video below.)

The host noted that a certain hermit kingdom had recently reopened to foreign visitors, then reversed course weeks later.

“They’ll eventually be open again to tourism when Trump makes North Korea the 52nd state,” Fallon cracked.

North Korea probably isn’t laughing. But perhaps the comedian has a point. Trump met with North Korean dictator Kim Jong Un multiple times during his first term and declared they “fell in love.”

“I think he misses me,” Trump said at last year’s Republican National Convention.

In a rash of saber-rattling and musings on takeover possibilities, Trump has proposed making Canada the 51st state with Prime Minister Justin Trudeau as the governor. Although sometimes presented in a lighthearted manner, Canadian officials aren’t finding it funny. The on-and-off tariffs Trump has imposed are heightening the tension.

The president has also suggested taking control of Greenland, the Panama Canal and Gaza, outrageously proposing the permanent exile of Palestinian residents to make room for a resort.

Fast-forward to 8:03 for Fallon’s territorial taunt:
