Pamela Anderson Brings Art Nouveau to Life in Oscar de la Renta Caftan at Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2024

Pamela Anderson was among the high-profile honorees and guests who attended the Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2024 in New York City on Tuesday. “The Last Showgirl” star was named one of Glamour’s Global Women of the Year at the end of September.

For the special occasion, Anderson opted for a eucalyptus-hued silk georgette caftan with a dramatic cape by Oscar de la Renta. The sweeping caftan featured cape-back sleeves and an illusion-tulle yoke embroidered with glittering crystals and pearls, a reflection of the Art Nouveau style’s emphasis on natural forms and ornate detailing.

Anderson paired the caftan with pointed-toe neutral pumps. She opted for her now-signature makeup free look, styling her hair straight behind her shoulders to show off the delicate crystal and pearl work around the sheer neckline. With her dress as the focal point, Anderson opted for minimal accessories, wearing only glittering stud earrings.

Oscar de la Renta has been one of Anderson’s go-to designers during her global press tour for “The Last Showgirl.” At the Zurich Film Festival on Saturday, the actress chose a fringe-inspired look from the brand.

Anderson wore a draped one-shoulder blouse and matching pleated wide-leg trousers — a look from Oscar de la Renta’s pre-spring 2025 collection.

While attending a Glamour event in London on Oct. 1, Anderson went with a classic little black dress from the fashion label, featuring such elements as an off-the-shoulder neckline and draped skirt with a velvet ribbon.

The Glamour Women of the Year Awards 2024 celebrate women and their contributions to various fields and disciplines, from entertainment to broader cultural impacts. Honorees included Serena Williams, gymnast Suni Lee, Olympic athlete Allyson Felix, environmental advocate Maggie Baird, social activist Mandy Teefey, and abortion rights activists Hadley Duvall and Kaitlyn Joshua, among others.
