Animal Lovers Are Sharing The Greatest Dog Names Of All Time

Everyone loves a cute dog, even more so when they have a cute name. I recently asked the BuzzFeed Community to share the best dog names they've ever heard. Here are some of my favorites:

1."Sherdog Bones the Dachshund."

29."Merry Puppins was the name of my first Afghan hound. I got her just before Christmas so that explains the Merry spelling. She was magical, so Poppins became Puppins when she was a puppy. She rode in the passenger seat of my MGB and turned more than one guy's head! Merry Puppins made it to the age of 15 and was the best dog ever!"

30.And finally, "We adopted a little shelter dog and his brother wandering the streets of Reno, Nevada. He was under five pounds and had all his fur shaved off since he had come in with long, dirty, matted hair. We wanted a dog that looked like a rescue and he did. We named him Rescue to promote the idea of 'adopt don't shop.' It is so great to have those signs that say, 'I love my rescue.'"
