The one where Jennifer Aniston settles the debate on the real color of her memorable “Friends” dress

Is it green or blue?

Well they didn't call her Rachel Blue.

Jennifer Aniston settled the debate on the real color of a memorable dress her Friends character, Rachel Green, wore in a season 3 episode.

Max recently celebrated the 30th anniversary of the beloved NBC sitcom by sharing two stills, one in HD and another in 4K, of the mint green dress Rachel wears in "The One Where No One's Ready," which followed an exasperated Ross (David Schwimmer) as he tried to get the gang dressed in time to attend a black-tie benefit at the museum in which he works.

The 4K version, now available on the streaming platform, shows the dress in a baby blue, leading to some confusion over the true color of the dress. "For the record," Aniston clarified on Instagram in response to the post, "the dress was mint green."

The sitcom, which ran between 1994 and 2004, centers on six close-knit friends in Manhattan as they navigate life, love, and career. It also starred the late Matthew Perry, Courteney Cox, Lisa Kudrow, and Matt LeBlanc, with a supporting cast that included Maggie Wheeler, the late James Michael Tyler, and Paul Rudd.

Friends celebrates the big 30 this month, and in commemoration, Max also recently announced a Friends game show competition series. “From racing through Rachel and Monica’s apartment to darting across Joey and Chandler’s bachelor pad and grabbing a coffee at Central Perk, fans will relive their favorite moments while being put to the test with trivia, puzzles and games that will keep even the most die-hard Friends fans on their toes,” reads a synopsis for the four-episode show, titled Fast Friends. A release date has not been announced yet.

Max was also the streamer behind the 2021 Friends reunion special Friends: The Reunion, which brought the gang together again to discuss the legacy and their time on the show. It came before the unexpected passing of Perry, beloved for his role as Chandler Bing, last October. The actor died from acute effects of ketamine at the age of 54, and five people, including Perry's assistant, have been charged in connection with his death.
