What 'love triangle'? Bindi's BFF in another relationship

It turns out claims that Bindi Irwin is entangled in a 'love triangle' with boyfriend Chandler Powell and close friend Luke Reavley are completely false.

Now it's been revealed that Luke has a long-term boyfriend Mitch, and the two pairs have already been on double dates.

The Australia Zoo employe celebrated his four-year anniversary with Mitch earlier this year, before the pair enjoyed a New York holiday together.

What's more, Mitch also happens to work at the zoo on Queensland's Sunshine Coast, and has been on hand to support the Irwin family during various media engagements.

Earlier this month Luke, who has worked at Australia Zoo since 2007, shared a snap of him and Mitch for his birthday, along with the caption: "I don't know about you, but I'm feeling twenty.. seven! Thanks to everyone who made my day so special, looking forward to another year of adventure".

Bindi 'liked' the post, before sharing her own message: "Happy Birthday to one of my best friends in this big wide world @lukereavley. Thank you so much for all that you do every day. We are so lucky to have you as part of our family. I can't believe that I have known you for most of my life! Can't wait to celebrate with you when we are back at the Zoo! Have the greatest day, sending lots of hugs. (Ps. This is Luke - not Chandler).

Mitch has been open about his feelings towards Luke, writing in one social media post: "Nothing in this world makes me happier than him".

And with Chandler and Bindi sharing snaps of each other earlier this week, it's probably safe to put those Woman's Day reports to bed.

The publication reported earlier this week that "Chandler is really on edge right now about his relationship with Bindi".

A source told the magazine that Chandler "got so annoyed a few weeks ago when he saw Luke giving Bindi a long hug - it was too much as far as he's concerned".

The late Steve Irwin's daughter has been dating wakeboarder Chandler since 2014, but is open about her strong bond with Luke, 26.

The explosive claims come just weeks after Bindi returned from a holiday to the US with Chandler, 20, where it was rumoured they'd tied the knot in Vegas.
