Six weeks away from The Night Agent’s long-awaited Season 2 premiere, we now have a flurry of castings for the hit Netflix drama’s third season.
TVLine has learned that Jennifer Morrison (Once Upon a Time), Stephen Moyer (True Blood), David Lyons (Revolution), Genesis Rodriguez (Lioness) and child actor Callum Vinson (Chucky) all have boarded The Night Agent‘s Season 3 cast.

Additionally, Suraj Sharma (How I Met Your Father) has booked a recurring role on the Sony Pictures Television production.
Details on all of the above roles are being kept under wraps at this time, though TVLine’s Inside Line column might offer a clue or two. Season 3 has started a production unit in Istanbul, and will return to film in New York in 2025.
Based on the novel of the same name by Matthew Quirk, Season 1 of The Night Agent followed Gabriel Basso’s Peter Sutherland, a low-level FBI Agent who worked in the basement of the White House, manning a phone that never rang — until it did. That call, from panicked cybersecurity expert Rose Larkin (Luciane Buchanan), propelled the two into a conspiracy that ultimately led all the way to the Oval Office. All the while, the heroic couple was dogged by not just a team of lovebird assassins, but an inscrutable bunch of White House bigwigs.
Details on the TV series’ Season 2 storyline to this day remain oddly scarce (Quirk wrote no second Night Agent novel), but Netflix has said that “working in the secretive organization of Night Action will propel Peter into a world where danger is everywhere and trust is in short supply.”
The Night Agent Season 2 premieres Thursday, Jan. 23, 2025.
