Invite Nicole Kidman to Your Next Rave: "I'm an Extreme Person"
"I'm an extreme person."
Nicole Kidman is a woman of many interest outside of her acting career. The Babygirl star is current in promo mode for the upcoming movie, and recently shared some insights on her likes and interests outside of filming the erotic thriller—and her answers just might surprise you.
During her appearance at the 2024 GQ Men of the Year event, Kidman caught up with social media personality and interviewer Amelia Dimoldenberg who asked her a series of questions. The internet personality told Kidman, "I heard you love chicken nuggets," to which she emphatically replied, "Yes! Where did you hear that?" Dimoldenberg cheekily added, "I've got my sources."
The conversation then turned towards events, much like the red carpet that Kidman was in attendance for. "Are you a party person?" Dimoldenberg asked. "I'm a small party person, but I do like a rave," the 57-year-old said, adding, "I told you, I'm an extreme person," when the interviewer had trouble understanding the sheer difference of event types.
Prepare to see Kidman rave on screen in a theater near you—the actress did a club scene for Babygirl alongside co-star Harris Dickinson. Of filming the erotic thriller, Kidman has stated that it was a both a liberating and exhausting experience.
"There was an enormous amount of sharing and trust and then frustration. It's like, 'Don't touch me,'" she said after a screening of the film. “There were times when we were shooting where I was like, ‘I don’t want to [simulate] orgasm any more. Don’t come near me. I hate doing this. I don’t care if I am never touched again in my life! I’m over it.’ It was so present all the time for me that it was almost like a burnout.”
