Zoe Saldaña and Morgan Freeman also star in Lioness. The spy thriller series is inspired by a real-life undercover operation that enlists female operatives known as Lionesses.
In July 2023, Kidman told PEOPLE that production for Lioness is a demanding but gratifying process.
“There’s an enormous amount of action in this show," she said. "We both had to work really hard, because they would share this fantastic dialogue, and you want to deliver on that. But it's also very physical and demanding. It's a rollercoaster ride.”

Kidman has also been making waves for her role in the A24 erotic thriller Babygirl. In the film, she portrays Romy, a high-powered CEO who begins a torrid affair with an intern, played by Harris Dickinson.
While accepting the award for best actress at the National Board of Review Gala in New York City on Jan. 8, Kidman referenced a memorable scene from the flick in which her character accepts a glass of milk from Dickinson's character.
“I’m going to raise a glass of milk to all of the baby girls in the room,” she said while standing at the podium and raising a glass of milk above her head. The Oscar winner then proceeded to down the entire glass as cheers erupted in the room.
“Good girl,” she said with a smile before blowing a kiss as she walked off from the stage.

The sparkling one-shoulder dress featured a gorgeous train made in crystal-rhinestone-embroidered mesh. She accessorized with the house's Knife 110mm Pump in cream satin and Boucheron jewels.
To amp up the drama even further, the actress wore her hair teased into a voluminous high ponytail that draped down her back.
The accolade marked Kidman's 17th Golden Globe nomination, previously winning four acting trophies, as well as an ensemble trophy. She took home acting awards for To Die For, Moulin Rouge!, The Hours and Big Little Lies. Big Little Lies also won best television limited series, anthology series, or motion picture made for television award.
