Nicki Minaj fans can now recreate the rapper's iconic nail styles.

After launching in March, Pink Friday Nails is teaming up with Shopify to debut an immersive pop-up experience at Shopify NY in New York City.

From Thursday, Oct. 11 through Sunday, Oct. 13, attendees will have the opportunity to explore the creative world of Pink Friday Nails through nail art demonstrations, interactive sessions and a first look at recent product launches.

Ahead of the event opening on Oct. 11, Minaj's longtime nail artist and Pink Friday Nails collaborator Yvett G spoke with PEOPLE about the brand and working with Minaj.

"Most of the inspiration comes from Nicki herself," says Yvett, who serves as creative director. "Whenever I've worked with her, she gives me a little bit of creative freedom. She'll give me a little bit of a mood board of, 'This is the look, I need you to do this gold thing, whatever.' So when we started with the brand, she was like, 'I need it to be inspired by things that we've already done, because I want my fans, my Barbz, to have a little bit of me.'"

"Nicki specifically said, 'I need there to be a lot of sizes,'" Yvett recalls. "Because for example, Nicki has really small nail beds. So if she was to just go out and get the regular [press-ons], they don't fit her, because they're too big. So we try to give you as many options."

"I think the biggest thing is right now we just want to bring it to people," Yvett says of the future of the venture. "So we're considering retail settings, things like that. And I think more events like this, because I was we need people to see them, because our quality is what stands out above. The designs are beautiful to see, but it's also the quality."
