The oldest of Nick Cannon's brood of children are officially teenagers!

The TV personality took to social media on Tuesday, April 30 to celebrate the 13th birthday of twins Moroccan and Monroe, whom he shares with ex-wife Mariah Carey. In addition to penning a heartfelt message for the big day, he posted a photo of himself with his arms thrown around the kids' shoulders, all wearing matching shirts that said "Roc + Roe" with their faces superimposed over the "O's".

"Can’t believe 13 years ago I was blessed with the greatest gift of becoming a father!!" he wrote. "God has truly had his hand on the lives of two of the most loving, kind , intelligent and well balanced humans I have ever witnessed!"

He continued, "Thank you for teaching how to love everyday and thank you for letting me be your dad! I’m going to eventually get it right, I promise!! Now let’s get back to partying! I love you Roc and Roe!! Happy Birthday!!!"

Cannon has, as you may recall, come under fire for the number of children he's fathered. Moroccan and Monroe are the oldest of 12 siblings, and the Nickelodeon alum has become the butt of the joke for sharing them with six different women, but he says "the more, the merrier!"

While most of his kids were unplanned, Cannon has opened up about "deep moments" spent "communing with spirits," which he compares to "manifestations or even...visions" that told him, "Yo, you're gonna be a father of many. There's gonna be your great influence, your lineage, your offspring are gonna do great things," hence why he's more than happy to let God decide how many he'll have throughout his life.

But while they're more than happy to rib on him for his massive family, fans are also the first to praise him for prioritizing time spent with each child.
