During an episode of Sophie Habboo and Melissa Tattam's podcast WEDNESDAYS, Tiesi addressed why she feels "people are confused" about her unconventional situation with the "Love Don't Cost a Thing" star, making it clear that they "don't co-parent" and instead, are "very much together."
"You have been very vocal about your family setup, and it's quite untraditional, but it's obviously amazing and it works really well for you and your family," Habboo brought up.
"I like to be very clear—we don't co-parent, we are very much together, and that's why people are confused," Tiesi said of her and Cannon's open relationship. "Basically, he has other partners and we're just open and happy and that's our thing."

When the podcast host asked, "What would you call that?" the 33-year-old admitted, laughing, "People call it all kinds of s--t... I call it just, I do what I wanna do. I'm not a jealous person—like, I don't want a conventional relationship. I don't want like, a full live-in person I'm responsible for; I'm responsible for my child."
The reality TV star called it the "healthiest relationship I've ever had," adding, "We never fight, we never have any toxicity, we don't argue, like, nothing."
Additionally, Tiesi said The Masked Singer host—who recently got transparent about his diagnosis with narcissistic personality disorder (NPD)—is"the best dad" and "so present."
"I've never asked this man to do something and he doesn't do it," she added. And although they do not live together, they "have a full schedule" that includes one another, as well as their son.
Instagram users in the comments section shared a variety of reactions to the blunt confession.
"So if she had multiple partners would Nick be equally cool with it?" one wondered, while another expressed a similar concern: "Does it matter when his other partners get pregnant?"
"Their poor child is going to have proper relationship issues," a third theorized, as a fourth noticed, "This sounds very similar to the sister wives show situation, where the dad would go visit other houses and be present and with the mom at each house. Interesting."
Others simply described the situation using adjectives like "nonsense," "confusing," and "messed up."
On the other hand, though, one didn't see an issue with the setup, writing, "I personally could never 😅 but it clearly works for them and they seem genuinely happy. Why does anyone need to question it? Go Bre 👏🔥💙."
"I felt the part where you say I don’t want to be fully responsible for someone, I think as women we have a big pressure to be there for our partner but not in the healthiest way. I feel like what you’re doing is right and people are too stuck in the same cycle to see it. ❤️," someone else imparted.
Child with Tiesi aside, the Wild 'n Out creator is also dad to 11 other kids with five different women.
Cannon shares eldest little ones, twins Monroe and Moroccan, 13, with ex-wife, Mariah Carey; sons Golden Sagon, 7, and Rise Messiah, 2, as well as daughter Powerful Queen, 3, with Brittany Bell; plus twins Zion Mixolydian and Sillion Heir, 3, and daughter, Beautiful Zeppelin, 2, with Abby De La Rosa.
Additionally, the Drumline actor has daughter Onyx Ice Cole, 2, with LaNisha Cole, along with daughter Halo Marie, almost 2, and son Zen, who died from brain cancer at 5 months old in December 2021, with Alyssa Scott.
