What’s Happening With 'Industry' Season 4HBO

Pinging all Pierpoint fans! Industry has returned to HBO and Max for season 3. If you’re totally addicted to this toxic work environment, here’s what we know about Industry season 4. You can bank on it! (See what I did there?)

The series has been a quiet, underrated fave on the network for the past couple of years. Former Game of Thrones star Kit Harington is an exciting addition for season 3, which definitely turned some heads in the show’s direction, as well as Sarah Goldberg (Barry) and Fady Elsayed (Gangs of London). And as for what comes after...

So is Industry coming back for season 4?

YES. This is excellent news for those of us who like to be stressed on Sunday night. The network announced on September 19 that the series will, in fact, be returning for season 4.

Who’s going to be in season 4?

Barring disaster, I would assume that Marisa Abela, Myha’la Herrold, Harry Lawtey, and Ken Leung would stick around. Hopefully, Harington and other newer guests or recurring cast members return as well. And I hope that the show continues to add new fun cast members, whether they happen to be familiar faces from other HBO shows or not!

What would season 4 be about?

With the amount of deals, steals, schemes and scandals on this show, you never know. We’re gonna have to watch season 3 first!

When would Industry season 4 come out?

Industry premiered in 2020, so between pandemic lockdowns and the WGA and SAG strikes, it is unfortunately one of those shows that has released a season every two years. But there aren’t, like, dragons or mushroom zombies on this show. One would assume that it wouldn’t take more than a year to produce a new season now...right? I respect patterns, so my educated guess is that (if the show is renewed), season 4 will come out in August 2026. Fingers crossed that it doesn’t actually take that long.
