Newlyweds Corinne Foxx and Joe Hooten Shared Wedding Dance to This Hit Taylor Swift Song

Corinne Foxx and Joe Hooten revealed their Swiftie status at their recent wedding!
The couple tied the knot on Saturday, Sept. 21, and they chose Taylor Swift's romantic song "Lover" as one of the songs they danced to husband and wife. In a clip shared on Instagram by a wedding guest, Corinne, 30, and Hooten can be seen gliding and twirling across the dance floor under a tent as their loved ones cheered and clapped.
The wedding guest also shared other highlights from the elegant nuptials, including a photo of the bride being walked down the aisle by her movie star father, Jamie Foxx, and a look at the outdoor ceremony setup featuring lots of white floral arrangements. Another snapshot showed a close-up of a festive napkin that read, "Do you remember the 21st night of September?" — a nod to the couple's wedding date and the Earth, Wind & Fire song "September."
On Sunday, Sept. 22, actress and reality star Garcelle Beauvais — who was also a guest — shared a series of photos from the wedding in an Instagram post that has since been removed from her page.
She wrote in the caption, "Last night we got to witness & celebrate the love of @corinnefoxx and @joe.hooten ❤️❤️. Your love & respect for each other is palpable 🙏🏽. Corinne you looked stunning."
Beauvais' photo carousel featured a shot of the bride and groom holding hands during their wedding ceremony. Corinne wore a stunning, off-the-shoulder gown featuring a high-low hemline design and a floral print. She completed the look with a simple tulle veil and white pointy-toe heels with pearl-embellished straps.

Other photos showed a tuxedo-clad Jamie, 56, proudly escorting Corinne to the altar and then later sharing a special father-daughter dance with her at the reception. Beauvais also included photos of herself posing with the newlyweds and with Foxx — whom she starred opposite in The Jamie Foxx Show — and his girlfriend Alyce Huckstepp.
Ahead of her wedding, Corinne revealed her dad's determination to make a memorably grand entrance at the ceremony. She told Entertainment Tonight that one of his ideas was to arrive on the horse from his 2012 film Django Unchained — but she was hoping to dissuade him from that scheme.
“If I could just not get my dad to come down on a horse, I’ll be good,” she joked to the outlet.
Corinne also predicted that her father would get emotional on the day. “I’m a little worried about him walking me down the aisle. He’s gonna be crying for sure,” she said, also sharing that she had to rein in Jamie when it came to his guest list requests.

“[The wedding’s] gonna be a big one. When I asked my dad for his list, he told me he has 300 people alone. I said, ‘We’re gonna have to cut down,’ ” Corinne told ET.
The Beat Shazam star also recalled the moment when her now-husband officially got the seal of approval from her dad.
“[Joe] saved my entire family from drowning,” Corinne told ET. “We were on a snorkeling tour and none of my family knows how to swim. We’re all in the middle of the ocean.”
“Everyone starts drowning and one by one my fiancé dived in and brought someone back in. Dived in and brought someone back in,” she continued. “And my dad said, ‘He’s a keeper.’ ”
When Jamie shared the news of Corinne's engagement on Instagram in December 2023, he wrote a touching tribute to his daughter and then future son-in-law and recalled the moment he heard Hooten was going to pop the question.
"@joe.hooten when you whispered to me a while back that you were gonna ask my baby girl to marry you I had tears of joy in my soul… 🙏🏾❤️," the Ray star wrote, calling Hooten "a great soul."
He concluded the post, "I LOVE YOU BOTH DEARLY… I have my tissues ready 😭."
