Newcomers Yao, Miles Caton & Peter Dreimanis To Round Out Cast Of Coogler-Jordan Thriller
EXCLUSIVE: Warner Bros has rounded out the cast of its untitled supernatural thriller from writer-director Ryan Coogler with the addition of three newcomers: yao, Miles Caton and Peter Dreimanis.
As with all other roles, theirs are under wraps, as is the film’s plot. As previously announced, Michael B. Jordan leads the ensemble, which will also feature Jack O’Connell, Delroy Lindo, Omar Benson Miller, Jayme Lawson, Wunmi Mosaku, Hailee Steinfeld, Li Jun Li and Lola Kirke.

Coogler is joined in producing the film by Proximity Media’s Zinzi Coogler and Sev Ohanian. Pic’s executive producers are Rebecca Cho, two-time Oscar-winning composer Ludwig Göransson, and Will Greenfield. It’s slated for release in theaters on March 7, 2025.
A recent graduate of the David Geffen School of Drama at Yale, yao currently boasts only a few screen credits, including the 2022 indie drama #LookAtMe.
Better known for his work as a musician, Caton has toured the world as a supporting vocalist for H.E.R. and performed at the Grammys and the Academy Awards. He released his first single “This Ain’t It” last year.
Also a musician, Dreimanis co-fronts the Juno Award-winning band July Talk with Leah Fay Goldstein. Currently preparing to release his debut solo album as Peter Dreams, he also recently produced a documentary titled July Talk: Love Lives Here, which premiered at Hot Docs Film Festival in 2023.
Yao is repped by Stewart Talent, Luber Roklin Entertainment, and Peikoff Mahan; Caton by CAA; and Dreimanis by CAA and Six Shooter Records.
