Megan Gale welcomes a baby boy!

Megan Gale has taken to instagram to announce the birth of her first child with partner of three-years, AFL star Shaun Hampson.

Posting a snap of the little one's hands entwined with hers, the first-time mum wrote:

"Our precious little 3.87kg (8.5 pound) man came into the world yesterday the 13th of May 2014 at 4.47pm.

"Needless to say Shaun and I are completely smitten with him and we're beyond blessed to have such a healthy baby."

Initially the couple hadn't decided on a name for the little one, adding: "Still deciding on a name so watch this space."

"Words can't even come close to describing how we're feeling right now and more so, how it felt to see, hear, hold and meet this beautiful soul for the first time.

"We love you little man and are SO thrilled to be your parents."

Megan has since posted another snap of her little guy, this time showing his adorable face, and announcing his name, River Alan Thomas Hampson.

"We finally chose a name for our little man - River Alan Thomas Hampson. Rivers is my Mums maiden name, Alan after my Dad, Thomas for Shaun's Dad and the last name just like his Daddy's", she wrote.

The 38-year-old model and her 25-year-old beau announced their pregnancy in November last year, also via instagram.

"I'm so excited and thrilled to announce that my boyfriend Shaun and I are expecting our first child together and I'm 13 weeks pregnant", she wrote.

"We have prayed for this beautiful little soul to come along and now it's happened we could not be more thankful and we can't wait to be parents.

"SO looking forward to meeting you our little angel."
