MKR'S Zana hits back

So-called My Kitchen Rules villain Zana has hit back at the barrage of online hate and criticism surrounding her controversial first week on the show – and slammed fellow contestants who don’t play the game fairly.

The stunning 24-year-old says she’s used to being judged by people who are shocked by her very candid comments, but she maintains that most come to love her bold personality.

‘People meet me and they’re like: “Ooh, she’s a bit full-on.” But when they get to know me, they see I’m a good person.’

‘Gianni and I were really proud of the fact that we were always honest and we always scored fairly – and I think a lot of the teams appreciated that,’ she tells New Idea.

Zana has also hit back at criticism over her comments she and Gianni didn’t need the $250,000 prize money, saying it was taken out of context.

‘It’s more like, even if there was no prize money, we’d still do the show. We’re here to represent our grandparents.'
