Bad Vegan: Fame. Fraud. Fugitives (16th)

Rescued by Ruby (17th)
Ol’ mate Grant Gustin (who plays The Flash on the telly) stars in this heartwarming true story about a bloke who wants to join an elite K-9 unit and the pupper he’s partnered with, Ruby. A true underdog yarn.

If you love Big Mouth, but are kinda sick of the pubescent adolescents, then this spin-off focusing on the Hormone Monsters will be just the ticket. Expect loads of great voice actors making off colour jokes.
Windfall (18th)
Quirky crime thriller about a bloke who takes a rich couple hostage over a strange, twisting night. Stars Jason Segel, Jesse Plemons and Lily Collins. Looks Hitchcockian and intriguing.
Is it Cake? (18th)

STAN
Minx S1 (17th)
Set in the 1970s, this is a comedy series about a hardcore feminist who teams up with a dodgy producer to publish the first erotic magazine for women. Starring Ophelia Lovibond and Jake Johnson, this looks like a lot of fun.
Election (17th)
This 1999 black comedy, starring Reese Witherspoon and Matthew Broderick, doesn’t get enough love these days. So check it out, because this is wickedly subversive and very funny.
The Devil’s Advocate: The Mostly True Story of Giovanni Di Stefano S1 (18th)
Three part docu-series about a dodgy lawyer (one of his clients was Saddam Hussein!) who, it turns out, had no licence or qualifications! Getting some strong Lionel Hutz energy from this one.
BINGE
Young Rock S1 (16th)
Agreeable little show from Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson, that showcases stories from his youth and early wrestling career. Lighthearted fun and perfect for those who smell what The Rock is cooking.
Monster in the Shadows S1 (17th)
Horrifying true crime docu-series about a case that shocked the state of Alabama. For those with hard hearts or strong stomachs, because this one’s only for the true crime hardcore. Yikes.
Amazon Prime Video

Cheaper by the Dozen (18th)
Hey, it’s a remake of the 2003 film, which was a remake of the 1950 film and will probably be remade around 2054 or some such nonsense. This time around it stars Zach Braff and Gabrielle Union. So, you know, there’s that.
Apple TV+
PICK OF THE WEEK
WeCrashed (18th)
Starring Anne Hathaway and Jared Leto, this true story of the WeWork scandal will likely be a must-watch for those hooked on the likes of Inventing Anna and The Dropout. True scam stories seem to be this year’s zeitgeist and it’s a trend we can get behind.
