“Phoebe Philo’s distinct vision and execution is evident in every aspect of the brand,” said Lana Todorovich, chief merchandising officer at Neiman Marcus. “We are pleased to offer our unique platform for her work and bring her modern, intuitive and timeless designs to our customers.”
Prices range from $650 to $6,200.
According to Neiman Marcus, expected bestsellers will be Philo’s wardrobe essentials, particularly the trousers, T-shirts and sweaters. Shirting and tailored pieces are also expected to resonate with Neiman’s customers, and there is a strong excitement surrounding the accessories.
In support of NMG’s integrated retail model, customers can also shop Phoebe Philo remotely through their sales associate. The opening marks an expansion of the partnership between Philo and Neiman Marcus Group, following the opening of a temporary space at Bergdorf Goodman in April and a permanent shop-in-shop in September.
One of the most revered — and bankable — designers of her generation, Philo is probably best known for engineering a brand rejuvenation at LVMH Moët Hennessy Louis Vuitton-owned Celine.
A graduate of London’s Central Saint Martins, Philo was classmates with Stella McCartney and worked with her when McCartney launched her own collection after graduation. Philo followed McCartney to Chloé in 1997 and took the top job in 2001 when McCartney left to set up her own fashion house in a joint venture with Gucci Group.
Philo’s eponymous collection, introduced in October 2023, was one of the most anticipated collections last year.
