Neighbours' Tim Robards quits to be with pregnant Anna Heinrich
Tim Robards has decided to quit Neighbours after two years, to be with his pregnant wife Anna Heinrich in Sydney.
Neighbours, which is filmed in Melbourne, hasn’t stopped shooting during the coronavirus pandemic, meaning Tim and Anna have been apart for the past few months.
“I made the gut-wrenching decision to depart Neighbours early as my responsibilities as a husband and father have to take precedence,’’ Tim said in a statement.
“If I’ve learnt anything in this pandemic it’s that the health and wellbeing of my family has to come first.”
Tim was scheduled to finish filming with the show in Melbourne next month but decided to wrap up early so he could fly to Sydney to be with Anna.
A familiar face is set to take over as billionaire businessman Pierce Greyson on Neighbours.

Back in May, Anna took to her Instagram account to make the exciting announcement that she is expecting her first child.
“It’s been so hard to keep this a secret, over the past few months, but I can now finally shout... I’M PREGNANT,” she wrote on Instagram.
“With everything that’s going on in the world we feel incredibly lucky and grateful to be starting a family together, and we’re so looking forward to this next chapter in our lives.”
