Sean Murray has issued a response to his wife Carrie James Murray's filing for divorce.

After meeting in 2004 at a Halloween party, the couple dated for a year before they exchanged vows in November 2005. The pair went on to welcome their daughter, Caitlyn, in 2007 and their son, River, in 2010.

"18 years of marriage and you still open the car door and pull out my chair. It’s true when they say, 'It’s the little things that matter the most,'" she began in the caption.
Carrie went on the joke that she "always get to pick what we watch" and "always get to be first," she added, "After some consideration, I always get to be right, well in my mind anyway. 😜."
"I love us @therealseanhmurray. I’m so glad I went to that Halloween Party. 🧡," she concluded, noting that the first photo in the carousel was the "earliest photo I can find of us" at her 2004 grad school graduation.
