Nate Bargatze wants you to know he loves fast food, in every sense of the phrase.
The comedian, 45, lives for the genre of delicious cuisine provided by places like Dairy Queen and McDonald's, and he also applauds the speed with which he can have an ice cream or No. 1 combo (no onions) on his porch thanks to none other than DoorDash.
"Last night I had a Sonic Blast, which is ice cream from Sonic, which is [because] Dairy Queen closed on me," Bargatze tells PEOPLE of his longtime loyalty to the delivery service. "I like to order it [ahead] sometimes if I'm driving home. I'll send it like a carrier pigeon."
In October, Bargatze hosted Saturday Night Live for the second time, and his opening monologue featured a heavy nod to his "abuse" (read: frequent use) of DoorDash.
Fast forward four months later, and the stand-up comic is starring in his first-ever commercial for the brand's Super Bowl spot in order to promote DashPass, the delivery service's membership program that offers big savings, and PEOPLE has the exclusive teaser.
"Telling the story about DoorDash on SNL, that was my whole goal, was to, I was basically going on SNL to audition for DoorDash," Bargatze says with a laugh. "It really worked out."
SNL is currently celebrating its 50th anniversary on the cover of this week's issue of PEOPLE, and Bargatze says he'd "100%" return to host the iconic show for a third time if asked.
"SNL's really done a lot of stuff for me. I owe a lot of this to SNL, and [creator] Lorne [Michaels]. And Lorne is someone that does see that. If you look at his history of SNL, it's all about finding the next group and then sending the, the other group moves out and the new group comes in," he says. "Someone, a point in my career, to be 20 years in and for it to have that big of an impact on someone that's been in the business for 20 years is, just shows you that they're always looking."
And, while he makes a career out of making other people laugh, Bargatze says his 12-year-old daughter, Harper, has the unique ability to get a rise out of him.
"She knows how to really make me laugh. And she's very good at facial expressions. And, I mean, she can take my wife for a ride," Bargatze admits. "Even when she's not supposed to, she's supposed to be going to bed, supposed to be doing something, and I mean, I just watch my wife be like, 'Go to bed. You got to get out of here.' and then it just turns into laughing. And I'm like, 'She's just working you!'"

Plus, says Bargatze, Harper will absolutely be the one inheriting his beloved DashPass membership.
Super Bowl LIX will be held on Sunday, Feb. 9, at the Caesars Superdome in New Orleans where the Kansas City Chiefs will face off against the Philadelphia Eagles.
