Naomi Watts has opened up about her courthouse wedding to fellow actor Billy Crudup, saying the couple wanted a no-frills ceremony because they were eager to get married quickly.

Naomi talked about the nuptials in an interview on The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, saying the couple wanted an 'efficient' way to get married and weren't focused on a big ceremony which is why they chose a New York courthouse wedding.

"It just happened that way," she said. "We knew we wanted to do it, it was something we were very keen on doing and quickly. It's an efficient way to do it.
