Naomi Watts Mourns Major Family Loss
Just a few months after she lost her 99-year-old "Nanna," Naomi Watts is mourning the death of another beloved family matriarch.
The actress, 56, took to her Instagram Stories on Monday, Nov. 25, to share the news that her 101-year-old "Granny Watts" recently passed away with a series of images.
In the first photo, her grandmother held up a telegram from King Charles printed with the royal seal, as the Daily Mail reported.

"Our Granny Watts made it to 101 and a half," Watts wrote over the pic, adding, "She got her letter from the King to celebrate her century, last night she rested in peace. RIP."
In two more shots, Watts posed with her grandmother and other loved ones on Granny Watts' 100th birthday.
"Farewell granny watts 101.5 years old!!" she wrote.

In August, Watts announced the death of another grandmother, Nikki Roberts, at 99.
"My darling Nanna has left this world but her spirit will never leave us," the Mulholland Drive star wrote on Instagram.
"I'm truly blessed to have had the most wonderful relationship with her," Watts continued. "She is such a huge part of who I am: her core values, her work ethic, and her mischievous humor and joy of life. I cannot express how deeply grateful I am for all that she gave me and her wonderful daughters."
Watts continued, "My mum and aunts are all in pieces today, but we know what a great life she had. She just kept cracking on because she loved her life and her family. She lived 3 more weeks after a massive stroke because, in full beast mode, she showed us that when she was finally ready to 'peg it- she'd peg it'. She had one more goal to meet. Her 99th birthday!! One more party. One more family gathering."
She concluded, "I'll never forget her wicked laugh, her feisty spirit, her no-nonsense attitude, her no waste policy!! She'd be trimming the mold off the bread and cheese: 'you don't need an expiration date— that's what a nose is for!' 😂."
