Mum slammed for cyberstalking a 12-year-old school kid

A US mother’s post to a online group has led to her being slammed for cyber stalking a 12-year-old.

The woman was wrote to the group to reveal how she discovered that a young boy called Nick dating her 11-year-old daughter was previously a girl and now identifies as non-binary.

Taking to a Facebook group, she explained how actually she found out more about the non-binary child.

The post began with her explaining how she first began to believe her daughter -whom she says suffers from ODD (Oppositional Defiant Disorder) and ADHD (Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder) – was being “deceived” by Nick.

“I chaperoned the 6th grade Halloween dance as this child was there. I knew she liked him but there is no PDA at school. She had her first slow dance. I just felt funny about the person.”

The mother decided to follow her “gut feeling” and went on to research and “find info” about Nick on Instagram.

After she found an Instagram page where Nick did cosplay (wearing self-made costumes) and proceeded to go through every single post.

She continued: “This child posted a video of ‘the girl I Used to be’ I almost lost my sh*t!”

The mother confronted her daughter about her findings and said her daughter was adamant that Nick was a boy.

After watching the pair dance together at the school dance, the mum decided to message the boy. Nick replied and confirmed he was a girl but is non-binary and doesn’t identify with any sex.

Nick said he didn’t mean to mislead her daughter and also confirmed that the pair kissed at the end of the school dance, which made the mother feel “nauseous and angry.”

While her daughter was “hurt and confused” by the revelation. The mum claimed her daughter “cried not because of what Nick says he is but because of misleading her.”

The mum went on to praise CBD oil for keeping her “calm” about the situation and stopping her from having a “nervous breakdown”.

She then asked other for advice about how to stop rumour spreading about her daughter. Photo: Facebook

She asked fellow group members for advice on what to do next because the story had now made the rounds in the school/neighbourhood – causing other to think her daughter might be gay or bisexual.

Backlash for her actions

However, the response she got from others in the group may not have been what she was expecting.

One commented: “First of all, an adult has no business messaging another child on Instagram, especially yo ask about their gender identity. Secondly, who cares? I f your daughter like them, it should not matter.”

While another added: “You need to speak with a counsellor alright… ‘The child’ is a person, and a developing one at that. “That child” owes you nothing, and they were kind to your child as best they knew how to be.”

Called out for her attitude

Another wrote: “I’m so disgusted by this entire post…Nick isn’t a SHE please stop referring to THEm as such. If they are non-binary, you’re damaging them further by insisting that they are a female (or male).

“I can’t help but wonder how your behaviour has affected you daughter’s mental health. I’m so sorry that your sweet girl has to be raised around such hatred and bigotry.”

While one commented: “If both these kids are in 6th grade they all talk so I bet your daughter knew but since you have made such a big deal about it then she has to too so you wont be made at her (sic)”.
