A mum’s extremely simple idea to get her kids on board with buying any kind of item in the supermarket – and not fuss about having to have THAT Frozen yoghurt – has gone viral.

Taking to Facebook, mummy blogger Jane Stine shared her idea, which turns any grocery item into something super exciting for little ones.

“Here’s my best parenting hack. You know how kids always want Paw Patrol yogurt or Disney waffles or whatever?” she wrote in the post.

“Bring your own stickers to the grocery store and start sticking. Today we’re having Winnie the Pooh brand spaghetti squash. It goes perfectly with Toy Story broccoli.”

Jane tells Yahoo Lifestyle she came up with the idea after finding a pineapple in store with a Frozen 2 tag on it.

“I was thinking ‘How does Frozen 2 have ANYTHING to do with a pineapple?’ Luckily my son loves fruit and eats veggies, but we still found that in the store he was just drawn to his favourite cartoons,” she tells us.

“So we just tried this to see if it made the grocery store more fun, and it really does! And since then, I have found out that there's an interesting study that suggests those stickers just might work.”

Her post quickly received tens of thousands of comments and has been shared over 80K times, with people dubbing the simple hack ‘brilliant’ and ‘genius’.

“OMG. Love it. This is perfect,” one person said.

“This is gold,” another added.

“This lady has won mumming,” a third agreed.

Others said they would be getting their hands on Frozen or Paw Patrol stickers quick smart to try the trick themselves.
