Mor Ilderton Is the Second Contestant to Drop Out of Season 26 of “The Voice”
On Nov. 11, Team Bublé contestant Tanner Frick dropped out of the competition
Mor Ilderton is no longer competing for the winning title on The Voice.
On Monday, Nov. 18, Gwen Stefani revealed that Ilderton "had to go home" and would not be moving onto the Knockouts — leaving only Jan Dan and Sydney Sterlace to compete in the round.
Stefani — who did not provide a reason for Ilderton's exit — chose Sterlace as her winner and saved Jan Dan. Both are now headed to the Playoffs.
Ilderton, 20, is yet to address the news himself. However, he's recently been promoting his new single "Stranger" on social media. The single is out Friday, Nov. 22.

Ilderton's exit comes after Tanner Frick dropped out on Nov. 11. At the time, host Carson Daly told Michael Bublé that his contestant had left the competition and wouldn't compete in the Knockouts.
“Michael, Tanner [Frick] left the competition after rehearsals. You still have Cameron [Wright] and Sloane [Simon]," Daly, 51, said.
He has yet to reveal why he left the show — though it seems he's also working on solo music. After the episode aired, Frick, 26, shared a TikTok of himself singing in a recording booth.
He captioned the post: "Ain't nobody want me anyway."
Ilderton initially chose Team Bublé but then was stolen for Team Gwen.
“I just got this feeling like, I know what to do with that guy,” Stefani, 55, said of Ilderton after pressing her steal button. “My favorite thing about Mor’s voice is it just has a unique, raspy undone tone. When you hear music out there, his voice feels like what’s happening right now in the world.”
During his blind audition, Ilderton sang Dylan Gossett's "Coal" and received chair turns from Bublé, Snoop Dogg and Reba McEntire.
The Voice airs Mondays and Tuesdays on NBC at 8 p.m. ET, and episodes are available to stream on Peacock the next day.
